SUPERFAMILY HMM library and genome assignments server

History

The SUPERFAMILY project was started by Julian Gough, and Cyrus Chothia, at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology.

The server is maintained and developed by Derek Wilson at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology England; Martin Madera at the University of Bristol England and Julian Gough at the University of Bristol England.

Additional contributers include Sarah Kummerfeld (Domain occurrence networks) now at Stanford University USA, Christine Vogel (Functional annotation and domain combinations) now at University of Texas at Austin USA, and Charles Talbot (Taxonomic visualisation of domain distribution) formerly of University of Bristol England.
